Data Protection/Privacy Policy

QMS Insight Limited takes data protection very seriously. All customer data is held within encrypted databases, with user-restricted access. We do not hold personal data about individuals, other than work-related information such as telephone or mobile phone numbers and email addresses etc.

We respect the individuals' request to exercise their ‘right to be forgotten’ and will remove all relevant personal information from our databases within 5 working days of any such request.

In the (very unlikely) event of a data breach, and although not legally obliged to do so, we would report such a breach to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and inform any affected individuals within 5 working days of the breach being discovered.

Data is EVERYTHING to our business, and we believe in being open and clear about what we store, how we store it and our procedures in the event of any issues.

Visiting Our Website

We use the third-party service Google Analytics to help improve the quality of the services we offer.

This records the visitors to our website, together with the session information such as the duration of the visit to the site and the nature of the browser used. This information is for administration purposes and in the compilation of statistics used by us to assess the use of the site.

The 123insight website is secured by an SSL Certificate, issued by the Starfield Secure Certificate Authority - G2. Any information submitted to 123insight via our online form will be stored on the web server’s database.

We use a third-party hosting company to manage our website hosting and email distribution.

Contacting QMS Insight

We do not distribute, sell or rent your name, e-mail address, or any other information about you or your organisation to any third party.

QMS Insight Ltd do not send unsolicited e-mail. The only e-mails you will receive from us will be responses to queries, updates and/or information considered relevant with respect to your enquiry. If you have any concerns regarding privacy and confidentiality, please contact us.

Access to Personal Information

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email or write to us. To ensure your data is secure, we will ask for proof of identity before any data is shared. Once verified, we will provide you with our completed Subject Access Request document within 30 days of the date of your initial request to allow you to review the data.

If any of your information is incorrect, you may ask us to correct or remove this information.

Any data collected and retained is stored securely on our network.

Should any physical documents be provided to us that require retention, these will be stored in locked filing cabinets. If physical documents are not required by QMS Insight Ltd, they will be shredded and disposed of.
